The Nefilim : Who Are They?

Let me start with the deluge i.e the great flood. Book of Genesis mentioned that the reason of the deluge is “to destroy the Man whom I had created from the face of the Earth”.

But why God decided to destroy mankind, creature that God created to populate the earth, to worship him? It was told that this decision was made-up in order to deal with Man’s sexual parody, particularly the sexual relations between “the daughters of Man” and “the sons of Gods”. In short, Gods decided to teach them a lesson.

There were no condoms or pills used back then. And so what was the result of this sexual intercourse? Children or demi-gods born!

The Old Testament explains:
“The Nefilim were upon the earth in those days and thereafter too. Those sons of the gods who cohabited with the daughters of the Adam, and they bore children unto them”

Nefilim (traditionally translated as giants) literally means “those who were cast upon” the earth. They were the sons of the gods, the people of the “shem”, the people of the rocketships.

So, what is in god’s name is the “shem”? It came from the root word shamah which means “that which is highward” or “sky vehicle”.

Malbim, a Jewish biblical commentator of the 19th century explained:

“in ancient times the rulers of the countries were the sons of the deities ho arrived upon the Earth from the Heavens, and ruled the Earth, and married wives from among the daughters of Man, and their off springs included heroes and mighty ones, princess and sovereigns. They were the pagan gods, sons of deities, who in earliest times fell down from the Heaven upon the Earth”.

To conclude, the Nefilim were the sons of gods who came to Earth and they were the People of the Shem.

What happened to them? Were they killed by the flood?

They were not! They knew the flood was coming and they were prepared for it and ascended to the heavens of Anu. The Assyrian version speaks the gods used “rukub ilani” (chariot of the gods). Apparently, during this time, it was so happened that the twelfth planet was nearest to earth, within the asteroid belt (Heavens).

• 75,000 New ice age begin


• 49,000 The reign of Noah, faithful servant of Enki begins


• 38,000 Harsh climatic period begins to decimate Mankind. Neanderthal disappears. Cro-Magnon Man survives


• 13,000 The Nefilim aware of the flood, vow to let Mankind perish.
